Responsive Neuro Stimulation (RNS): Implantation of a device that detects and responds to abnormal brain activity to prevent seizures.

Before surgery, extensive evaluation is conducted to precisely locate the seizure focus and assess its relationship to critical brain functions such as language and motor skills. This may involve video EEG monitoring, neuropsychological testing, and advanced imaging techniques.
